About Me

Being a very keen horse rider, skiier and runner, and having suffered from my fair share of falls and injuries over the years, has made me appreciate the importance of looking after yourself, especially as you get older. Understanding not only how to treat injuries correctly so ensuring that you get back to what you want to do as quickly and safely as possible, but also, strengthening exercises to preventing re-injury.

I am always eager to learn more about alternative therapies, as they view the world from a different perspective. I completed the first year of a Shiatsu Diploma, but then fell pregnant and have only recently had time to study and trained with the Cambridge School of Sports Massage (CSSM) as a Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist. I am a member of the ISRM (Institute of Sports and Remedial massage)

If I had known then what I know now, I would have treated my injuries differently and can appreciate how an injury from over 15 years ago can reoccurand cause you other issues as you get older. I am passionate about being able to help others not make the same mistakes as I did and get them back to their active lives again!
